As is its custom as an inherently aggressive and criminal entity by its practices, the Zionist enemy launched a new aggression on Syria on Wednesday through aerial bombardment targeting the cities of Tartus, Homs and Hama. Where enemy planes exceeded Lebanon's sovereignty and penetrated its airspace to carry out their strikes, which the Syrian air defenses repelled most of them before reaching their targets. This brutal aggression comes within a series of repeated attacks that have been continuing for years by the Zionist entity targeting Syria; encroaching on Lebanon; killing our Arab people and destroying our Arab lands in light of complicit international silence and open inaction before the duty to apply the so-called international law when the enemy is the Zionist and the victim is the Arab.

We in the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement, while condemning the entity's aggression and its excesses, affirm that this enemy proves every day that peace, freedom, stability, development and progress in the region cannot be achieved as long as this racist entity remains in place, and that they are just illusions in which it enhances its aggressive expansionist existence and through which it achieves its conspiratorial function in the service of imperialist domination at the expense of our existence. The only way to deal with the Zionist entity is through armed resistance and struggle by all legitimate means for our oppressed people throughout the Arab world until the liberation of the land and the liquidation of the usurping entity, and rejection of all forms of normalization and treasonous cooperation with the occupation, starting with the security cooperation of the “Palestinian Authority” agencies, through the so-called imaginary “Abrahamic Peace,” all the way to the recent “Biden Corridor” project.

In conclusion, we affirm our solidarity with Syria and its steadfast people and our support in the face of the Zionist enemy, with sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and all our wishes for recovery for the wounded.
